Three local practices have come together over the past few years to form Hine Downing. The oldest of these dates back more than 125 years.

Today the firm has 8 partners and five main departments: Commercial, Litigation, Family and Children, Probate Wills and Trusts and Residential Property. Specialisms within these departments mean the firm is able to deal with a wide range of legal matters.

As well as serving businesses and individuals in Falmouth, Hine Downing has clients throughout the county and beyond.

The firm prides itself on the strong personal relationships it builds with its clients, its approachability, discretion and professionalism. It has a special interest in maritime affairs, acting for many companies and institutions concerned with the waterfront.

David works with the heads of all departments, advising on standards and effectiveness and helping to formulate policy.
